What you get
What the Tally on Cloud price includes, and what it doesn’t.
Included in the monthly fee
- Hosting of TallyPrime on the provider’s servers (Tally uses Oracle Cloud)
- Access from anywhere with internet, with unlimited hours
- Automatic backups on the provider’s side
Not included, or worth checking
- Your TallyPrime licence, which you need in any set-up
- Your books sit on someone else’s server, not in your office
- Everyone works over the internet, even at the next desk, so if the office connection drops, the office stops posting
- The fee keeps running for as long as you use Tally, and grows with every user you add
Many hosting companies also rent Tally on their own servers, often as remote desktop. Their prices vary, per user or per server. Before you compare, check whether a price includes GST, backups, a set number of users and support.
Rent or own
Tally on Cloud vs owning a Baadal: the cost over the years.
Cloud costs less in the first months. Owning costs less over the years. The bigger the team, the sooner a Baadal pays for itself, because cloud charges for every user and Baadal doesn’t.
| What matters | Tally on Cloud | Tally on Baadal |
|---|---|---|
| How you pay | A monthly fee per user, every month | One-time price for the Baadal + an annual support plan |
| Adding a user | Adds to the monthly fee | No per-user charge from Baadal |
| 10 users over 3 years | About ₹2.55 lakh with 18% GST, at ₹600 per user | Your quote: put it in the calculator above to compare |
| Where your books sit | The provider’s server | Your Baadal, in your office |
| If the office internet drops | The office stops working in Tally | The office keeps working; access from outside waits |
| TallyPrime licence | Yours, paid separately | Yours, paid separately |

A fair answer
When Tally on Cloud is the better choice.
We’d rather you pick the right set-up. Tally on Cloud can make more sense if:
You have one or two users
The monthly fee stays small, and there’s little to gain from owning a server.
You have no office
If your team never works from the same place, there’s nowhere to keep a Baadal.
You need Tally for a few months
A short project or a temporary team is cheaper to rent.
If you have an office, a team of four or more, and plan to use Tally for years, owning a Baadal usually costs less and keeps your books in your hands.
What is the price of Tally on Cloud per month?
Tally Solutions lists TallyPrime on Cloud at ₹600 per user per month for 1–2 users and ₹450 per user per month for packs of 4 to 16 users. At ₹600 per user, a 10-user team pays ₹6,000 a month before GST, or ₹4,500 on the ₹450 rate. The TallyPrime licence is extra.
What is the Tally on Cloud price per user?
₹600 per user per month on the 1- and 2-user plans, and ₹450 per user per month on the 4, 8, 12 and 16-user plans, as listed by Tally Solutions in October 2026. Other hosting providers set their own prices.
How much does Tally on Cloud cost for 10 users?
At ₹600 per user, 10 users cost ₹6,000 a month, or ₹7,080 with 18% GST. That is ₹84,960 a year and ₹2,54,880 over 3 years. On Tally’s ₹450 rate for packs of 4 or more, it is ₹5,310 a month with GST. Tally sells cloud in user packs, so a 10-user team may pay for a larger pack.
Is GST extra on the Tally on Cloud price?
Tally’s price list doesn’t say, so check your invoice or ask the provider. This page shows totals before GST and with 18% GST, and the calculator lets you switch GST on or off.
Does the Tally on Cloud price include the TallyPrime licence?
No. Tally says its cloud price covers hosting only, so you still need a TallyPrime licence. The same is true with Baadal: you use your own Tally and Windows licences.
What is the Tally on Cloud price for CA firms?
CA firms pay the same per-user rates, and with several staff in Tally the monthly bill grows quickly: a firm with 8 people pays ₹4,248 a month with GST at Tally’s list price. Many CA firms prefer owning a Baadal because client books stay in their own office.
Is there a free trial of Tally on Cloud?

Is Tally on Cloud cheaper than Tally on Baadal?
For one or two users over a short time, usually yes. For a team of four or more over three years or longer, Baadal usually costs less, because there is no per-user monthly fee. Put your Baadal quote in the calculator on this page to see your own break-even month.
How much does Tally on Baadal cost?
You buy the Baadal once and take an annual support plan, with no per-user charges from Baadal. We quote for your team size, storage and software after a short call.
Can I move from Tally on Cloud to Baadal?
